Why did we make this page of China Tea Academy?
Drinking tea can be a very simple thing. A pack of 0.5g Lapsang Souchong instant tea powder and 300ml warm water can quickly replenish caffeine and keep you energetic when working. Drinking tea can be full of ritual. Before brewing a cup of Jinjunmei and other Chinese loose leaf teas, you should prepare tea table, boiling water, sanitary ware, warm cup, tureen for making tea, and then drink the tea, and you can enjoy hours of leisure time. In oriental culture, drinking tea can carry many cultural complexes. Drink a cup of Lapsang Souchong, taste 400 years of precipitation, experience matcha, and feel the artistic experience that has been passed down from the Song Dynasty(宋朝) to the present. Tea has been associated with the life of self-cultivation in oriental culture. What our tea academy wants to do is to help you drink tea in a convenient or traditional way in different environments and moods, and get a better tea drinking experience.
Course 1: Try More Unique Chinese Teas
Course 2: More ways to drink Chinese tea
Use mugs cups to drink tea in the office or at home
Step 1
Put 2~4g tea leaves in a cup, add hot/cold water, and soak for 3-5 minutes
Drink tea outdoors with a travel tea set
Step 1
Add 3g~4g of tea after warming the cup and smell the tea aroma
Step 2
Prepare pure water at 90~95°C
Step 3
1~3 courses rush out quickly, 4~6 courses soak for 5~10s, 6~10 courses for about 15s. Extend the soaking time appropriately with the increase of brewing times.
Brew tea with a Gaiwan or a teapot
Step 1
Add 3g~8g of tea after warming the cup and smell the tea aroma
Step 2
Prepare pure water at 85~95°C
Step 3
1~3 courses rush out quickly, 4~6 courses soak for 5~10s, 6~10 courses for about 15s. Extend the soaking time appropriately with the increase of brewing times.
Make your own cold brew tea (green, black, white)
Step 1
Add 2~3g tea into the bottle.
Step 2
Prepare pure water at -10°C~10℃.
Step 3
Refrigerate at low temperature(0-10℃/50℉) for 4-6 hours.
Boiled white tea/Puer tea
Step 1
Add 8~10g loose tea into the teapot.
Step 2
Prepare cold or hot water
Step 3
Set the steaming time for 10-15min, The flavor is better if you add some dried tangerine peel. You can add water for 3-4 times until the color of soup becomes lighter.
焖白茶Stewed White Tea
Step 1
Add 8-10g of tea into the teapot.
Step 2
Prepare pure water at 90-95°C
Step 3
Wait for 2-4 hours and enjoy the tea. You can add water for 2~3 times until the color of soup becomes lighter.
