Tips about Chinese teas
- Traditional Chinese tea does not add flavorings, high quality tea leaves and handcrafting produce a natural aroma
- Chinese black tea is mellow and not bitter, so it does not need to add milk and sugar, which is healthier
- If you use a Gaiwan or teapot to make tea, it is recommended to brew multiple times(5-12), and gradually increase the soaking time from 3 seconds each time.
- Purified water at 100 degrees Celsius is the best choice for brewing Zhengshantang black tea.

I drink Lapsang Souchong since more than twenty years. Like many Westerners I like strong smoke. Many years ago it was easy enough to find strongly smoked, still palatable brands. Not so these days. There are several reasons behind the disappearance of the smoke. Lapsang lovers know it well. This one from Lapsangstore is in my opinion the best one can buy. Balanced, tasty, not too intrusive. I have experienced this amazing tea 1 year ago at the International Tea Exhibition In South Korea. I was not really good at speaking Chinese but the people out there were so nice and kind. And the tea was absolutely delicious. I was mesmerized by this tea and I desperately wanted to have this more..!
