In 2019, Zhengshantang established an overseas project in Nanjing, the ancient capital of Chinese Six Dynasties, and began to expand overseas markets. We established the official website www.lapsangstore.com. Lapsang means authenticity and orthodoxy, which is from "Lapsang Souchong", our main tea products. Not only does the tea come from authentic tea producing areas, but the production process also adopts traditional craftsmanship that has been passed down for more than 400 years. In the beginning, there were very few products suitable for us to sell overseas. Except for the classic black tea products of Zhengshantang, what supported us to go down was this Lapsang Souchong instant tea powder.Tea powder is not only suitable for iced drinks, but also easy to carry. It is made by freeze-drying extraction process, which not only perfectly restores the unique taste of Chinese tea, but also does not have to worry about the tedious steps of the tea brewing process.

At the beginning, there were only a few products suitable for us to sell overseas. Apart from Lapsang Tang’s classic black tea products, what supported us was Lapsang Souchong instant tea powder. Tea powder is suitable for making iced drinks and is easy to carry. Made using a freeze-drying extraction process, it not only perfectly restores the unique taste of Chinese tea, but also eliminates the need to worry about the tedious steps of making tea.

Finally, after gradually solving many problems such as raw materials, technology, taste, packaging, etc., we launched 6 flavors of tea powder: black tea, green tea, oolong tea, Pu'er tea, scented tea, Dahongpao Ice, both box and gift packages.

About Zheng Shan Tang
The world's black tea originates from China. In the middle and late Ming Dynasty (about 1568 AD), the ancestor of the Jiang family of Zhengshantang founded Lapsang Souchong, and is recognized as the originator of black tea in the world; in 2005, Jiang Yuanxun, the 24th generation inheritor of Lapsang Souchong black tea, He led the team to develop the high-end black tea Jin Junmei based on the inheritance of black tea culture and production skills for more than 400 years, filling the market gap of high-end black tea in China and promoting the development of the entire black tea industry.
Fujian Zhengshantang Tea Co., Ltd. has more than 400 years of black tea culture and production skills. Since 2010, Zhengshantang has exported scientific and standard Junmei black tea production technology, selected high-quality tea producing areas across the country, built a Junmei Chinese black tea industry system, promoted the standardization of Chinese black tea, and established a model for clear drinking black tea in China.

Different from the ground tea powder of matcha, the production process of freeze-dried instant tea powder is more complicated, it is more scientific, healthy and standard:

1. Preparation of raw materials: Zhengshantang has two kind of Lapsang Souchong, traditional crafts (royal black tea, Bense, 8310, etc.) and innovative crafts (Wild tea, Feizixiao, 1568, 1604 etc.), we choose the traditional crafts of Lapsang Souchong . There are fewer and fewer companies producing traditional Lapsang Souchong. We hope that through our own efforts, more people can enjoy this flavor easily.

2. Low-temperature leaching: First, the tea soup is leached. In this step, we are faced with two choices. If hot water is used for leaching, the concentration of the tea soup is high, and more tea powder can be obtained. If low temperature cold water leaching (8-12 hours at 0-10°C), the concentration of tea soup is low, and the obtained tea powder is less. We know that many customers like iced drinks, so they choose to use cold water to leaching tea soup. The tea powder produced in this way will be completely dissolved by adding water and stirring at room temperature.

3. Extremely fast freeze-drying: After the leached tea soup is filtered and other processes in the sterile workshop, it is dehydrated and freeze-dried at a temperature of minus 40°C through a special ultra-fast freeze-drying equipment. No additives are added in the whole process, and the final tea The powder is healthier and safer, and can retain the aroma of the original leaf tea. It can be completely dissolved by adding water and stirring at room temperature, and there will be no graininess or turbidity. Hot and cold drinks can be made by adding hot water and ice cubes according to personal preference.

4. Aseptic bagging: Because the tea powder particles are too small and easy to get wet, we designed a special 0.5g small bag, which is bagged and sealed in the aseptic canning workshop. With one bag and one cup, you no longer have to worry about the utensils, water temperature, and amount of tea to make tea. Add tea and water, dissolve in 3s.

5. Plastic packaging: The packaging of Lapsang Souchong tea powder continues our classic design. Tranquility Chashan, Wuyi Sunrise, Tea-making Qinglou and the birthplace of Lapsang Souchong form a complete package cover. 제일 큰 장점은 찬물이나 따뜻한물 우유에 그냥 넣어도 잘 녹아서 굉장히 간편하다는 점 입니다!
바쁜 아침, 텀블러에 담아서 휘리릭 나갈 수 있으면서 홍차의 향은 그대로 느낄 수 있다는 점! 그리고 여러가지 향이 같이 들어있기 때문에 그때 그때 다른 느낌으로 차를 즐길 수 있다는 점이 좋네요
