Description

Fuding Da Bai Tea

The Essence of Spring

Niao Yu Silver Needle white tea originates from the golden tea-growing belt of Fuding, Fujian, at 27°N latitude. Here, where mountains meet the sea and mist lingers among the clouds, the nationally renowned tea variety “Fuding Da Bai Cha” thrives. Known for its abundant silvery pekoe, refreshing taste, and clean, elegant aroma, this cultivar forms the genetic foundation of premium white tea. We selectively pluck only the plump single buds that emerge in early spring. After storing energy throughout the winter, the tea plants concentrate rich nutrients into each tender tip. Every bud is full, straight, and densely covered with silvery-white pekoe. It takes tens of thousands of handpicked buds to produce just one batch of this tea—a testament to its rarity and craftsmanship.

Covered in Silvery Pekoe

The Source of Freshness

Following the essence of white tea processing—no frying, no rolling, only natural withering—the leaves gently release their true character through sunlight and subtle airflow. The shimmering “pekoe” that coats the buds is the soul of its flavor. Rich in theanine and other amino acids, it gives the tea its signature fresh, lively taste and natural sweetness. We recommend skipping the rinse when brewing to fully preserve these delicate aromas and nutrients. Gently pour water around 90°C, and watch as the pekoe slowly dissolves into the liquor, resulting in a broth-like texture that is full, savory, and smooth. Sweet, moist, and layered with pekoe fragrance and tender floral notes—this is the pure, vibrant taste of spring captured in a cup.

Tin Packaging

Preserving Freshness

To protect this delicate tea, we use highly sealed tinplate cans. The sturdy container resists pressure and impact during transit, while its excellent light-blocking, moisture-proof, and high-barrier properties create a stable storage environment that locks in the fresh flavor of early spring. With a generous 60g volume—this size is perfect for personal enjoyment or for sharing the complete taste of spring with someone special.
