THIS SEASON'S DEEP DIVE: ‘The Grade of a Leaf’
This season we follow a single thread through the world of Junmei black tea — the grade of the leaf. You will no longer simply say "this one tastes richer"; instead you will clearly taste how the plucking standard, from a single tender bud to a full multi-leaf shoot, quietly rewrites the cup: the bud gives elegance and sweetness, while the leaf brings body, depth, and a bolder aroma.
At Zheng Shan Tang the same processing meets an entire spectrum of grades—single bud, one bud with one leaf, one bud with two to three leaves, one bud with three to four leaves, multiple buds and leaves, and pure leaf—each a different voice of the same mountain. We've arranged ten single-serving samples into a "staircase" by plucking grade — from the tender single bud up to the bold pure leaf — and added two full-size 50 g packs so your favorites can stay in your cup across the whole season: China Red (Black Tea) in a 50 g tin and Moca Black Tea in a 50 g bag, a combined 100 g for everyday brewing.
