Fenghuang Dancong has a wide variety of varieties and rich aromas. Silver Flower Fragrance, commonly known as Duck Shit Fragrance, is the most well-known of the nearly 100 types of Phoenix-tea. The origin is mainly on the southeastern slope of Phoenix Mountain, with a long-lasting fragrance and a unique natural orchid fragrance.

How to brew
It is recommended to use a gaiwan/Purple clay teapot for brewing.
1.After warming the cup, add 6g of tea (the ratio of tea to water is 1:20, that is, the amount of tea in a 150ml bowl is 6-7g)
2.Shake gently to smell the aroma of tea, the aroma of Phoenix Dancong is fragrant, and the aroma characteristics are the most obvious at this time.
3.Add 100°C water, and the water should submerge all the tea leaves during brewing.

What is Fenghuang Dancong (Phoenix-tea)?
Fenghuang Dancong tea is produced in Fenghuang Town, named after Fenghuang Mountain. A tea tree, after being cultivated by tea farmers for several generations, is confirmed to have a unique and excellent fragrance. This tea tree is then harvested and produced by a single plant, which is called "Dan Cong"(单丛).
As far as modern times are concerned, the energy and time spent in doing so are too high, so most of the current Fenghuang Dancong is made by uniformly picking the same variety of tea trees.
What is Ya shi (Duck shit) Fragrance Dancong?
The original clump of Duck Shit Fragrance incense grows at an altitude of 900 meters in Fengxiping Kengtou Village, Phoenix Town, Chaoan District, Chaozhou. It was transplanted from Wudong乌岽 Mountain in Chaozhou in the 1920s. The soil in which it is planted is called "duck shit soil" locally, which is a yellow loam rich in minerals. In order to hide the tea, the farmers deliberately named it "Duck Shit" for fear of being stolen, but the tea seedlings were eventually grafted and expanded in Phoenix Town. The origin is mainly on the south slope of Fenghuang Mountain in the northeast of Chaozhou.
In 2014, after multiple tastings, it was believed that the aroma of the tea when brewed was similar to the aroma of honeysuckle in full bloom, and the "Duck Shit Fragrance" was officially named "Silver Flower Fragrance" Dancong.
In recent years, major tea brands have launched bubble tea with duck shit as the base, which has aroused strong market response.
