THIS SEASON'S DEEP DIVE: ‘Rock Bone & Floral Fragrance · Wuyi Rock Tea Journey’

This season, we journey into Wuyi Mountain, a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Mixed Heritage site, to discover the iconic Rock Bone & Floral Fragrance of Wuyi rock‑oolong tea. More than simple tea drinking, this is an exploration of rock‑oolong’s multi‑layered flavour universe. Experience rich varietal florals from rare, renowned tea varietals, the mellow velvety depth of Shui Xian, bold cassia-spice notes of Rou Gui, alongside mineral, caramel, and dried fruit sweetness shaped by varying roasting degrees — all forged by the unique terroir of Wuyi's Danxia karst landscape.
Authentic Wuyi rock oolong originates in Wuyishan National Park. Its karst gravel soils and mountain micro-climate lay the foundation for its famous "rock bone" minerality, while native cultivars deliver vibrant floral aromas. Every tea in this subscription set is sourced from Wuyi's core authentic and semi-rock growing zones, featuring Shui Xian, Rou Gui, and Da Hong Pao across light, medium, and medium-high roasts.

Zheng Shan Tang honours terroir and time-honored rock‑oolong craftsmanship, guiding you through a journey of sensory discovery with every sip.

This Season's Curated Selection:
We have assembled an immersive Wuyi rock-oolong tasting journey for you. This season's collection features four renowned Ming Cong cultivars — Bairuixiang, Foshou, Shiru, and Queshe — alongside the "Fuwang Fulai" series of Shui Xian, Rou Gui, and Da Hong Pao. You'll also explore Da Hong Pao in three distinct roasts (light, medium, and medium-high), plus organic Da Hong Pao sample sachets and instant Da Hong Pao oolong powder for quick, everyday enjoyment.
Thoughtfully Designed to Last Two Months:
We select premium - grade Wuyi rock-oolong raw materials to showcase flavour differences driven by cultivar and roasting technique. The four ming-cong cultivars each carry distinct varietal character: Bairuixiang offers a rich, sweet aroma; Foshou delivers soft, fruity notes; Shiru presents subtle lingering fragrance; and Queshe boasts a bright uplifting floral bouquet. Shui Xian yields thick, velvety liquor with prominent woody undertones, while Rou Gui stands out with its powerful spicy cassia-cinnamon character.
Three Da Hong Pao variants with different roast levels are included, enabling direct side-by-side comparison to learn how roasting shapes aroma, texture, and taste. Instant Da Hong Pao tea powder fits into busy modern lifestyles, letting you enjoy rock oolong character anytime on the go.
Much like the winding stone trails across Wuyi's rocky peaks, this collection reveals its complexity layer by layer. Every sip carries the terroir legacy of Wuyi's Danxia mountains. Immerse yourself in the timeless charm of rock bone & floral fragrance this golden autumn.
